Quality
We deliver validation-ready tooling. Quality is defined by one outcome: stable molding and verified fit, dimensions, and cosmetic performance before shipment. Our process is built around clear engineering checkpoints and measurable evidence, not generic slogans.
Quality Proof Points
- Our quality management is aligned with ISO 9001 quality management principles (certificate available upon request).
- Dimensional verification is supported by coordinate measuring machines (CMM) and optical inspection equipment.
- T1 trial validation includes photos, videos, and key findings for remote review.
- A tooling handover package is provided to support acceptance and faster production launch.
What Matters Most for Tooling Quality
Tooling quality is evaluated by production outcomes. We focus on four areas that directly affect your production readiness and ramp-up speed.
Dimensional Stability
We control variation on critical features and interfaces to ensure repeatable results across trials and production conditions.
Assembly Fit and Functional Interfaces
We verify clips, locking areas, sealing surfaces, and datum-related fits to ensure reliable assembly performance.
Cosmetic Control
For cosmetic parts, we assess gate witness, weld lines, flow marks, ejection stress marks, and surface consistency.
Molding Stability and Process Window
A mold is considered ready only when it runs stably within a reasonable process window, not just one successful shot.
Quality Gates in a Tooling Project
We apply structured checkpoints throughout the project to reduce trial risk and keep progress predictable. Each gate has clear checks and deliverables.
Gate 1: Drawing Review and Risk Identification
We review part structure, parting direction, demolding feasibility, ejection concept, and critical fit features.
When needed, mold flow analysis supports gate location and cooling strategy decisions.
Gate 2: Tooling Design Control
Cavity layout, gating, cooling, venting, and ejection are engineered for stable molding and repeatable dimensions.
Design decisions are made around long-term production reliability.
Gate 3: Machining, Assembly, and Verification
Critical cavities and interfaces are controlled during machining and assembly.
Dimensional checks can be supported by CMM and optical inspection where appropriate.
For steels requiring heat treatment, hardness verification can be included as part of internal control to support tool longevity.
Gate 4: T1 Trial Validation and Evidence
T1 trials verify molding behavior, dimensional stability, assembly fit, and cosmetic performance.
High-definition photos and trial videos can be provided for remote verification and faster decision-making.
Inspection and Measurement Capability
We use appropriate measurement methods based on feature type and tolerance requirements. Typical equipment includes coordinate measuring machines (CMM), optical comparators (profile projectors) for profile checks, and hardness testers when needed.
Delivery Evidence Package
We provide practical evidence to support acceptance and smoother production launch. The package focuses on validation outcomes and setup references, so your team can review and approve with confidence.
Typical contents include:
T1 trial sample photos (optional)
Trial findings summary (key issues and status)
Key dimension measurement summary (if required)
Recommended processing window (basic)
Spare parts list (if required)
Ongoing Support
After delivery, we support technical alignment, issue review, and necessary adjustments based on trial feedback and production launch needs. Our goal is stable tooling performance throughout your production lifecycle.
